Around 500 exclusively invited guests attended the twelfth edition of Thales's major customer event and technology show in Germany on April 21- 22.

Every two years high profile clients and prospects from ministries, authorities and customers visit the Koblenzer Tag. The main objectives of this well-known event, held at the Defence Technology Centre of the German Armed Forces in Koblenz, are customer retention and the presentation of innovations as well as an outlook on future development of best sellers.

“Koblenzer Tag most importantly means proximity to our customers. This format gives us the ability to establish close contact with users and decision-makers. In recent years, this approach has allowed us to make a compelling case to our guests that the innovations we have developed meet their needs", said Peter Obermark, CEO of Thales Germany.

"This alone makes such an event worthwhile, since detailed interaction with customers and prospects give our experts in-depth, first-hand insights into their needs", he added.

Many other members of the extended management board also took part in the event, including Chief Operating Officer Dr. Yves Joannic.

Highlighting the entire solution portfolio

Guests from defence and security sectors received the latest information on topics such as cyber security, information technology and air traffic control. Platform providers and about 30 media representatives also joined the product presentations and live demonstrations, and gained further insight during the numerous lectures and discussions.

The Group chose to display its solutions in seven different clusters:
